So You Want To Be Heard!

So, You want to be heard!

You want people to hear your thoughts!
You have something important to say!
Have you ever listened to someone & said to yourself “Man I could do that”.
Before you can sell anyone – you must sell yourself!

You must sell yourself before you can sell anyone else!
Belief in self – belief in product / service
Relationship building – leads to sales
What is your soap box?
What is your passion?
What gets you excited when you share it with someone else?
What makes your voice go up in octave when you speak about it?
Everyone has something.
Many people have several things.
Deciding on your chosen passion is sometimes the longest piece of the project.
Marketing yourself as the expert.
Talk to everyone – share your dream / knowledge

1). There is no such thing as a 9 am to 5 pm a week success plan. (What are you willing to do to get to where you want to go?)
2). Education does not stop on graduation day. (Ongoing and continuous learning must go on everyday.)
3). You have to do the homework. (Learn all you can about your chosen endeavor.)
4). Develop good listening skills. (You have two ears and one mouth.)
5). Expand your world by reading. (Work – Motivational – Fun)
6). Write down your experiences. (Study them.)
7). Write your not so positive experiences down. (Learn from them.)
8). Be ACCOUNTABLE! (To Yourself – To Others)
9). Be RESPONSIBLE! (Response – Able / Your Choice)
10). Positive Self Speak (Post-its on the monitor that say “I am the Best________”.)
11). Share your knowledge with those who ask.

  5. Tie It Together: Transfer lessons learned into forward business planning. Use them to develop a knowledge base and accelerate learning internally.
  6. High Note: Always end the debrief on a positive tone. Instill positive energy.
